Your God ordained place....

A letter was written to me about a "switch" being turned off after birthing the children...Has your "switch" turned off to your DH, because ???????? Consequently, has  His(DH) "switch" turned off also, you live married and still do everything married couples do except, for sexual relations....How can this be? Obviously, the marriage was not as good as one thinks or one would not be concerned and writing as one did....
"Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render(give) unto the wife due benevelence(sexual gratification for her): and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband:and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and pryer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency"(I cor. 7:2-5).
Hmmmm. pretty strong words...Lets go on....
Dear Mrs.?(Could you put your name in here?)........
You would not be writing unless you are both unhappy with your current realtionship. You know this should not be. When you married you sugned over to become a helper for his needs. Your lifes work is to help your husband. Marriage means becoming one flesh. It does not mean being best friends. In practice, you are not in a marriage relationship with your husband. You and your husband are effectively living in a seperate status..having put each other away .
God commands, in I Cor. 7:5...."Defraud not one another, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan temp you not for your incontinency."
God has already told us that not having regular intimacy is giving Satan an opportunity to tempt married couples. Wife, it is your God-ordained helper place to your husband to be his totally enthusiastic intimacy partner, ready to enjoy him at all times. To do less is a grave error. If you love your DH, as God commands, you will always seek to give him pleasure. In so doing, you will fulfill your role as his suitable helper.

The Plan....

In my experience of a simple/crazy life,,
raising half a dozen exuberant children(literally)....
farming USA dirt, stringing.. sheets out on the line......

I am praying to slow down and see the sacred in the chaos....
the flame in the bush...
the Cross in the clothespin..
and the flame in the bush.

Just a bit of listening, laundry,
liturgy and......

Kings and Kingdoms, cont'd.....

Good Morning Ladies, My garden takes more time than one thinks....mowing lawn, having Grandsweeties, and other such, time flies, so here is just a bit for this week,.........

Women feel that they will lose some of their self-respect if they surrender to a man who is less than wonderful. Surrendering your autonomy to another is not for wimps. People say of an obedient women, "Oh, she is just the meek and timid type; she needs to get a life of her own." They know not whereof they speak. This is not a abstract, puzzling doctrine; it's practical and pragmatic. The more I show my husband reverence, the more he treasures me and treats me like his queen. God made a man so that our deference and respect feed his tendency to show tenderness and to be protective of us.
Ladies, this really is true, I have found it in my own life and marriage. My DH loves to "protect " me, but, I have to choose to allow him to do that, by..... reverencing, not only with respect, but, reverence, and being humble enough, that when I blow it, to say, "I am sorry". Not flippantly, but, from the bottom of my heart, and with that making a change. Sounds like a big charge, not?, but, it is possible. I never thought I could have a glorious marriage.... but,,,.....Thanks be to Jesus, it has happened.
First, a heart that is truly, Born Again, Changed, completely the Lords.....then the rest...still submitting to the Lord and DH....
~Oh~!, Ladies, let me encourage you to submit, to the Final Authority, Jesus Christ.

Love from my Heart,

Terri

Monday...What about Priscilla and Aquilla?

The naysayers also draw our attention to the ministry of Priscilla and Aquila, as if the inclusion of the woman with her husband somehow negates the hundred or so doctrinal verses that teach about a womans role as a helper to her husband. On the contrary, although they are about a womans role as a helper to her husband. On the contrary, although they are mentioned five times in the Bible, Priscilla is never mentioned alone. She is always with her husband, as I am with mine. When my husband goes to speak at a seminar on family and child-training issues, they usually advertise us as Michael and Debbie Pearl. He takes the stage and does the teaching, while I sit in the audience to support him. He sometimes calls on me to publicly answer questions about child training or homeschooling, but I never publicly teach doctrine to anyone, men or women. I counsel women and make sure my husband gets plenty of rest, has good food and is able to remember wher he is and what he is to do next. He often asks me my opinion on issues and iIhelp him formulate ideas as we discuss points of concern for the seminar. MY ROLE AS HELPMATE IS A SUPPORT ROLE, as I am sure was the case with Piscilla.....
Love to all....

Continuation on ..."Peace of mind in a troubled world."

The battleground in our hearts..........

Though our souls long for God, our sinful natures rebel at His ways. Part of us yearns for God and part of us reaches for fleshly desires. Our hearts are a battleground of continual conflict. This inner struggle causes tension and excessive strain. Without God we are "like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt"(Isiah 57:20).

There can be no peace until all of life---mind, body, and spirit---are coordinated by the One who made us and understands us. He is not only master of the world but knows your life and mine from the beginning to the end. He was thinking of us when He came into the world"to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.(Luke 1:79).

As the Prince of Peace, He invites you to come to Him. "Come unto me, all that are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"(Matt. 11:28). When you come

to Him, you will find relief and relaxation in the freedom He gives. Your peace will be as a river(Isiah 48:18)--an active, sparkling peace that is refreshing and strong, a peace that passeth all understanding. (Phil. 4:7).

Will you come to Jesus casting your burden on Him? He says,"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you...Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid"(John 14:27).Faith and trust are the antidotes for fear and aanxiety. How restful it is to trust in the only God who is from everlasting to everlasting, to have a friend who never changes, whose love never dies. This Friend is ever thinking of us, ever caring for us. So why worry and fret? Learn to do as we read in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon Him' for He careth for you." There is peace when the battle is over, so why not surrender your ife to the Lord? Remember, if you trust, you don't worry and if you worry you are not trusting. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee"(Isiah 26:3).

Resentment is a poison that also robs your peace of mind. It leads to discouragement and hopeless confusion. It is hard to forgive those who have done you an injustice, but you must if you wish to be forgiven. "But if ye forgive NOT men their tresspasses, neither will your Father forgive your tresspasses"(Matt. 6:15). As faith is born in your heart, you are able to surrender your will. Instead of resentment and irritation, your heart is filled with love and mercy, and you experience an inner tranquility. When Jesus is reigning in your heart, you will truly love your enemies. Only through Christ's redeeming blood can this occur.

More next week.....

Love to all who read this blog.......

Complaining....

~~I just watched a video of a man that has no arms nor legs, and he was a powerful encouraging speaker....He used what he had and went on..How many of us complain because we don't have this or that, can't do this or that...I wonder if it all has to do with, how we see things?

~~Can we not do with what we have, and not complain?http://www.maniacworld.com/are-you-going-to-finish-strong
~~This man has no arms nor legs and has courage....
~~Type it in and look...it needs a .html at the end and it is a video....

Thoughts and a letter from your toddler....

Greetings, from me and my blog to my friends/Sisters.........

I thought this week, we would take a break and I would share something else that I have in my heart...just some thoughts....

This is called,

"A letter from your toddler"..

I am your little 3 year old boy, and I am thinking I could share some things with you mom.

First, I would like to say, be a happy mother! When I see your furrowed brow and your face covered with tension, dissappointment and displeasure, I worry myself that I did something and yet again, and I may have. then, I want to ask and may..."Did I do something, mom?"

Sometimes you tell me to do something and I don't do it...I know that you see this, mom, and part of me is glad that I escaped the task. But that other part of me doesn't feel good just the same. I also have a habit of not listening to you when you talk to me, becasue I have learned that I do not have to do "it" the first time, you will keep on me several other times, before I really have to do it. then I get spanked, but, is it really my fault, if you don't follow through with what you told me to do the first time?

Don't get angry with me, when your anger leads to harsch words and actions I find that I get fearful and my whole world turns upside down. I am soo little and you sooo big. I spill, and wet my pants, and torment my sister/brother. It's much better if you sit me on a chair until we both cool down, than to discipline me in anger, remember, mom, I don't understand why you are soooo angry. I want to learn to be kind and good, and I want to learn from your example.

Pray for me mom, I am blissfully aware of what is ahead of me, but, you can pray for my friends, companions and influences I will have. Pray that I can be strong and seek God's will early in life. Pray that God can grant you the wisdom to guide my little hands, heart, and feet. Pray every day that God may watch over me and keep me safe in body and spirit.

Its fun when you talk silly to me, and get down and act as if your 2 also, but, mom, sometimes it might be better if you act like the mother more than my friend. If all I hear is baby talk, that is how I will talk, stay on your level mom, and I will learn to talk properly.

Let me help, setting the table, working in the garden, picking up toys. I wont want to spend a lot of time doing the same thing, but, work with me, don't do it for me...set a timer, if need be, remember though mom, I need to be taught and it not done for me. When I do these things, I love to tell Dadddy when he comes home. I need to learn to work, even when I don't want to. When it's easier for you to do it yourself, please take the time to show me. Teach me good habits and make me obey without having to tell me more than once.

I don't like the word no, I always like it, when your "no" turns to yes, if I "bug" you enough, but mom, maybe 2 would be a good time to learn that "no" means "no".... sometimes I need to learn to submit just for the sake of submission, other wise, how I hear the Lord calling my heart when its time? We are both learning mom, you to keep your word, and me to submit.

We both feel better if we get our sleep and eat good. Naps aren't so bad if you take the time to read to me before hand. It makes Daddy real happy if you have me ready for bed in good time at night, then everyone is happy.

I love candy, but, if I eat too much, I do get grouchy.

Mom I am so shy around other people. I like it if I can just stay close to you or Daddy when we are away from home. Please don't push me to do things that I am too young to do. When I am rady, I will join the other children in their games. Smile happily at me and love me with your whole heart and this may be just the boost I need, but, if I am rebellious and cantankerous, I still need discipline, I think you are wise enough to tell the difference.

Take time to swing me on my swing, comment on the "beautiful" picture I just drew, or help me on my puzzle, playing house or whatever I am doing, it makes me feel loved. I will be much better behaved boy if I am listened to....

When you discipline me, point out the wrong attitude, or action. Remind me that "I" am not bad, but the action, attitude was. You love me, but you do not like it when I do not listen. Help me to understand the best a 2 year or 3 year old can, but then help me to be happy again. I am such a pliable little fellow, mom, and if we can get the right foundations laid, there's potential for me in this old world, and in the service of God.

Signed...Your little child.
