Eight practical game rules......
Todays is called...."Eight Practical Game Rules"....
Have you ever studied the word "blasphame"?
When I was small, it struck terror in my heart. We were new christians and somewhere along the way, the preachers were able to stuff into my little brain the verse on blaspheming the Holy Ghost., "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation"(Mark 3:29).
Today, now at a much riper age, the word "blaspheme" still causes me to shudder---as it should. To some degree, blasphemy is to put oneself above God, either by what you say or what you do. When the Pharisees heard Jesus speak, and because they wanted a reason to kill him, they accursed him of blaspheming,"making himself equal with God"(John 5:18).
This is a womans study about wives and mothers, so you must be wondering what blasphemy has to do with the subject. A lot! I tried to recall the list of 8 things that aged women were told to teach the younger women.
"That the aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be [1]sober, [2]to love their husbands, [3]to love their children, [4]to be discreet, [5]chaste, [6]keepers at home, [7]good, [8]obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed(Titus 2:3-5).
The word blasphemed jumped out at me,"...that the word of God be not blasphemed." Aged women (that's me) are commanded to teach the young women so they will not blaspheme the word of God!!! As young mothers in danger of blasphemy? The passage says they are.....blasphemeing the Word Of God. Even though it is not the unpardonable sin, it sure is a scary thing for Paul to say that about young wives.
The word blaspheme in this passage had always seemed to be an overstatement---an emphatic exxageration. How can a woman be causing the Word of God to be blasphemed is she is not discreet? Does a women really cause the Word of God to be blasphemed if she doesn't obey her husband? What if he is wrong? What if she dresses a little sexy and is not as chaste as she should be? Should that be judged as blaspheming? What does it mean to be keepers at home? Why are these eight things so critical to young wives that refusal to do them would be termed blasphemy?
God is faithful, as I pondered these thoughts, He gave me a glimpse of how to answer these questions, His answer broke my heart. I could never have dreamed the horror that would teach me just why the word blaspheme is the right word. But first, we will examine the 8 characteristics, one by one, that God commands aged women to teach young women.
Until next week,..........
Love to all who read....

Kings and Kingdoms, contd'.....
Reverence is not just how you act; it is how you feel and how you respond with words and with your body language.
It is not enough to get up and serve him; your eyes and the quick, carefree swing of your body must indicate your delight to be engaged in serving your man. You cannot fool a man. He can see your heart as well or better than you can. Keep an eye on his dinner plate so you can anticipate his needs. "Deference" is a hot cup of ?, while you take his shoes off after a hard days work. It is a glad face when he returns after being gone for a short time. It is thankfulness for his attention and affection. Deference to your man is the height of true feminity. It makes a woman beautiful, gracious, and lovely to all, but most especially to him. When I respect him, He is spurned on to protect me! When I treat him with disrespect with my facial expressions, eyes, body language and all that God has given me to honor him, He is turned off....Why would he want to protect me?
Next week, "Don't mess my hair"....

Kings and Kingdoms, cont'd.....
Good Morning Ladies, My garden takes more time than one thinks....mowing lawn, having Grandsweeties, and other such, time flies, so here is just a bit for this week,.........
Women feel that they will lose some of their self-respect if they surrender to a man who is less than wonderful. Surrendering your autonomy to another is not for wimps. People say of an obedient women, "Oh, she is just the meek and timid type; she needs to get a life of her own." They know not whereof they speak. This is not a abstract, puzzling doctrine; it's practical and pragmatic. The more I show my husband reverence, the more he treasures me and treats me like his queen. God made a man so that our deference and respect feed his tendency to show tenderness and to be protective of us.
Ladies, this really is true, I have found it in my own life and marriage. My DH loves to "protect " me, but, I have to choose to allow him to do that, by..... reverencing, not only with respect, but, reverence, and being humble enough, that when I blow it, to say, "I am sorry". Not flippantly, but, from the bottom of my heart, and with that making a change. Sounds like a big charge, not?, but, it is possible. I never thought I could have a glorious marriage.... but,,,.....Thanks be to Jesus, it has happened.
First, a heart that is truly, Born Again, Changed, completely the Lords.....then the rest...still submitting to the Lord and DH....
~Oh~!, Ladies, let me encourage you to submit, to the Final Authority, Jesus Christ.
Love from my Heart,
Terri

Washed in the Blood of the Lamb?
The title may give you questions, Is your heart washed in the Blood of the Lamb?
Rev 7:9-14, 1:4-9, and ;Hebrews 10:29
Is THE blood of THE lamb on the doorposts of your heart?
When we are deliberet in our disobedience to what God has called us to do, that is when it becomes wrong for us....In spite of repeated warnings by the Holy Spirit, Do you still disobey?, and make excuses for not obeying?
Satan would like to rob us of courage in our Christian lives and have us look at bad situations, and bring our courage low. If I can believe I am saved(washed in the blood of the lamb[i.e., born again]), my courage will come back. Satans trick is to make us believe lies, and not obey "The Word Of God"....he makes us think, were ok, to just walk the fence, with one foot in the Word and one foot in the World....

Comfort zones....
Comfort zones....
Men are not the uncaring creatures they sometimes appear to be. They highly treasure their families and like for their homes to be comfort zones. they want respect and a family that gives them security and purpose. Even though home life may get dull, men greatly value their own woman and children.
Men may allow the lust of the flesh to pull them away from that which they value, but they try to get back to that comfort zone. It is this natural need for his own famuly that keeps a man caring for and bearing the responsibility for his wife and children. When a woman does not provide for her husband a comfortable nest and a reverent attitude, she has to rely on his goodness to "keep him" faithful. She is a fool to expect him to be a good husband when she is not being the helpmeet God has created for her to be.
A man coming home to a tense or messy home, lousy meals, and a wife who is critical, judgemental, and or bossy might not have the "goodness" to remain faithful if a young sweet, kind, woman at work seeks to pull him away with the promise (illusion) of a more fullfilling comfort zone.
Woman take it for granted that a man will be faithful because it is his Christian duty to be faithful(and it is). It is also a womans Christian duty to be a help meet: honoring, obeying, serving, and reverencing.
Experience has proven that failure on a woman part will make it much easier for a man to fail his obligations to the family. a satisfied man will cherish his "comfort zone" enough to resist the "evil woman" and her empty promises.
Counselors agree that in almost all marriage conflicts both husband and wife share the blame almost equally. A mans guilt is usually easy to see. A womans guilt is less obvious but just as destructive and just as evil. God ordained a woman to be a help meet. She is to provide a haven of rest and satisfaction, and to be a delight to her husband. ARE YOU??????
When she fails to obey God, there is often a high price to pay. When she obeys God, even if she is married to a "lost" man, she will usually reap heavenly rewards.
Love to all who read, may you reap heavenly rewards by following this and "The Word of God"....

Monday...What about Priscilla and Aquilla?
The naysayers also draw our attention to the ministry of Priscilla and Aquila, as if the inclusion of the woman with her husband somehow negates the hundred or so doctrinal verses that teach about a womans role as a helper to her husband. On the contrary, although they are about a womans role as a helper to her husband. On the contrary, although they are mentioned five times in the Bible, Priscilla is never mentioned alone. She is always with her husband, as I am with mine. When my husband goes to speak at a seminar on family and child-training issues, they usually advertise us as Michael and Debbie Pearl. He takes the stage and does the teaching, while I sit in the audience to support him. He sometimes calls on me to publicly answer questions about child training or homeschooling, but I never publicly teach doctrine to anyone, men or women. I counsel women and make sure my husband gets plenty of rest, has good food and is able to remember wher he is and what he is to do next. He often asks me my opinion on issues and iIhelp him formulate ideas as we discuss points of concern for the seminar. MY ROLE AS HELPMATE IS A SUPPORT ROLE, as I am sure was the case with Piscilla.....

Finding your life in his..........

Hello Ladies and others.........tis time to go on with our study about "Created to be His helpmeet"..
Lets go on.
There was once a show called "Dad"...It told of a woman/wife that controlled the man/husbands every move, he could not even pour the milk on his cereal......they got old and the son came home to take care of them in their old days...the old woman spent her entire life taking care of her "Mr. Nice, Steady" husband...
Then she got sick and spent some time in the hospital, when she came home, her "Mr. Nice, Steady" husband was a changed man...during her absence he had began to to places, and doing fun things, the clock had seemed to be turned back 50 years, he was happy now...you seee....he was ready to live out what he had dreamed about for 30 years in his mind while working in the same old factory...
He talked of friends and family that never existed, their 4 children, when there was only 2, He spoke of his much loved, gentle and obedient wife, quite different from the reality he had experienced over many, many years. His wife was terribly shaken, because she knew that never existed, no dairy farm, no 4 children,...she also knew the woman he remembered was not her.
All the years at the factory and "dreaming "of what he really wanted for his family and wife,,took a toll on him, the psychologist explained. He now lived in the very world he had dreamed about for years. As Grandfathers mind aged, the pleasant make believe world he had dreamed about had become reality to him, and the "caged" life that he had really lived faded away....
Because of his wifes controlling hand and his desire to do "his duty" and please her, he had failed to live his dreams. She had weakened him with her control and criticism until he created and imaginary world of hope and fullfilment.
Oh, ladies, as I type this, my heart breaks again for how I treated my DH...Do you treat yours with distain, because he is not the MAN you want him to be...well, then quit treating him like that....treat him with respect, reverence and honor as you want and he will blossom,,,he will make you his queen.....
I cannot go on today, for my heavy heart and the memories that pour back with this part of the study.....
Please stay with me though......next Monday will be more.....
Love to all who read this....

Hello Ladies......
Just a note.... What I post is a combination of what I have read over the years and my own experience...not at all, the "Gospel"...I am sooooo glad for blogs....one can say what one wants in any way one wants.
I just hope and pray, what I have gathered over many, many years of "learning"....has been a help to someone. Much of it, is from the school of hard knocks....
It may not work for everyone, but, hopefully for one, who can make it work for them.
Love to all who read this and blessings.....

.................Wisdom to understand who it is that you are married to.........

Good Morning Ladies;
A wise woman learns to adapt to her DH...........
This morning, we want to take a look at the above title...
Who is it that I am married to?, you ask...It seem as if God has made basically 3 types of men, and your DH will be one a mixture of 2 or some of all three. God did this to express His very own triad nature. Jesus was the perfect "3".
Men are not within their God given realm when they try to be something they are not meant to be(as in their natures).
Lets take a look at the 3 types and you will probably easily identify where your man is and if you have been a blessing or not to him....
Lets get started.............
By the we young women get married, we have preconceived ideas about our very own "prince charming"....things that contribute to this are men she has known, books, and outside stimulas. With these preconceived ideas, it makes it real tough on our "prince"....in our minds, they will be "perfect",,,however, they will NEVER be and far, far from it. God gave each only part of His nature and not complete. Add in the fact that men are fallen creatures and a girl wonders why she would ever want to tie her very life to one of these sons of Adam. But, God makes us ladies to have a innate desire to want one of these men and our hormones are working overtime to bring that along.
What happens when a girl finds out that after a time, this "man" that she thought God brought into her life is not as perfect as she thought he was...........now, she spends alot of time trying to change him into what she thought he was suppose to be....what if he is a "lemon"? Maybe asking God for Wisdom, would be the needed reaction.
Wisdom is knowing what you "bought" when you married that man, and learning to adapt to him as he is, not as you want him to be.
All men are not created equal, and are not what we have as the "prince" in our minds. Our men are created in the image of God, but, will NEVER come even close to that. Because they are only "created", no man can be even close to "perfect", or else, they would not need us frail, human, fleshly women.
God gives imperfect woman to imperfect man so they can be heirs together of grace and become something more "together" then either of them would ever be alone.
If one fights ones husbands inadequacies or seeks to be dominant where he is not, both of you will fail. If you love him, and support him with his inadequacies and without taking charge, both of you will succeed and grow.
Now onto the 3 types of men.............................
Mr. Command.....
God is dominant, a sovereign and all powerfull God. He is also a visionary- omniscient and desirous of carrying out his plans. And, God is steady-the same yesterday, today, and always. Most men epitomize one of these 3 aspects of God.
A "Command Man", will be the leader, they almost have more than their share of dominance. Many times they are chosen by other men to be preachers, heads of businesses, and other such leadership positions. They usually do more than is required of them also.
He will usually(not always), want his wife to coetow to his needs, and not have any outside interests(this can be tempered too!), but, not by our suggestions.
If you are blessed to be married to one of these men, the faster one learns to make appeal without challanging his authority, the faster you are on your way to "bliss".... They sometimes have less tolerance, walking off in a "huff", leaving his wife stamouring for what to say. A woman married to one of these men, can talk till she is blue in the face, and still have to sign divorce papers. His felings are hidden soo deep, one wonders if he has any?
He seems to be sufficient unto himself. It is awfuyl being shut out. A woman married to one of these men, has to earn her place in his heart, by proving that she will be there through thick and thin, faithful, loyal, and obedient. Whe she has won his confidence, he will treasure her to the extreme. She is on call 24 hours a day, her man, wants to know why, when and how she is doing, saying and whatever in her life. He may even criticize her without even knowing it.
A woman married to a "Command man" wears a heavier yoke than others but, it CAN be VERY rewarding. In a way, her walk with this man, is easier, because there is NEVER any way for her to be in control, no gray areas, she can have a sense of calm and safety.
He is also a chance taker, and because of that, God put these in as Kings. A Mr. Command man, sees the BIG picture and takes action, even if it costs him his life and the lives of those he loves. He will usually take financial loss in order to help those he loves, if he is honest, but, if not,.........he will be selfish and use the resources of others to further his own interests.
This man NEEDS his wifes admiration, to keep him on top(so to speak), without this admiration his victories are muted.
If you as his wife can learn to take a second seat, and if she does not take offensiveness to his head strong aggressiveness, then she will be sitting at his side being adored, however, the opposite is also true. She will be his closest and sometimes his only confidante.
Reverance is of utmost importance to this kind of man. Do not belittle his accomplishments, nor how he does them, or he will shrink into a puddle of.....?
If you are the wife of this man, and resist his control, well, you might be in for a horriably bumpy ride and stay married and miserable yourself.
He might even brag till all are sick of him if he has not been trained how to work. If he has no wife or children and has left that, he will be obnoxiously a braggert. He may be even abusive, in other ways.
PLEASE remember, how a "Command man" reacts depends highly on how much his wife reverences him(not always though). In marriages, sometimes, he is not getting respect and thus, conflict, strife etc. When a wife plays her part as a help meet, this man will react differently.
When a "Command Man", (lost or saved) is treated with honor and reverence, a good help meet will find that her man will be wonderfully protective and supportive. remember, he is a COMMAND man, a LEADER, and will usually organize "it" to get "it" done,he will notusually clean up after himself.
He will also be most uncomfortable with "death" situations.
Ladies, this is a lot to hear and digest, take it in, ponder it(think, think, think, pray, pray, pray) and what you need, God will give it to you....
Don't be afraid to act upon what ever God gives you, even if it seems stupid, if it is good for your marriage(outside of sin, of course), then act upon it.
PLEASE don't think I am purporting to sin...NO!!! But, God can change your heart one vein at a time, PRAY for His wisdom, and stick to it...things can change...
More tomorrow....."Mr. Visionary".............
Thanks and Love to all who read.....

A switch from my other blog...
This blog will only have my posts, not my business on it....So please sit down, relax and have a cup of tea, as I share with you my insights of being a woman, wife, Grandmother and friend. Although I am not that old, life has seemed to teach me the hard way sometimes.
I will post more later....
If you would like to look at my other blog, please go to...
