Blaspheming the written Word of God....
Dear Mr Pearl;
I have a question. Would it be sin to castrate myself? I am a husband and father, and I just cannot satisfy myself with my wife because she does not want to be intimate very often. The bible says, "whosever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed aadultery with her already in his heart." Would it not be better in my case to be castrated? I talked with my wife and she does not care. I am tired of sinning.
Mr Miller
This is a real letter from a real man named Mr. Miller. We were shocked! What do we tell this man who is willing to lose his manhood to avoid the lust caused by his indifferent wife? The gravity of his wifes sin is staggering. She has NO FEAR of God Almighty. She has blasphemed the word of God with her selfishness, thinking only of her own needs and not loving her husband. Never, Never, never be guilty of such a grave sin. This husband needs to know that God says. "The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband....Defraud ye not one the other...that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency"(1 Corinthians 7:4-5). God grants the marriage partner full access to his spouses body for sexual gratification. And remember, indifference is unwillingness.
Ladies, ARE YOU INDIFFERENT ? Lets fall on our faces before God and repent...we dont need this added to our other sins......Love your husbands....

Eight practical game rules......
Todays is called...."Eight Practical Game Rules"....
Have you ever studied the word "blasphame"?
When I was small, it struck terror in my heart. We were new christians and somewhere along the way, the preachers were able to stuff into my little brain the verse on blaspheming the Holy Ghost., "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation"(Mark 3:29).
Today, now at a much riper age, the word "blaspheme" still causes me to shudder---as it should. To some degree, blasphemy is to put oneself above God, either by what you say or what you do. When the Pharisees heard Jesus speak, and because they wanted a reason to kill him, they accursed him of blaspheming,"making himself equal with God"(John 5:18).
This is a womans study about wives and mothers, so you must be wondering what blasphemy has to do with the subject. A lot! I tried to recall the list of 8 things that aged women were told to teach the younger women.
"That the aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be [1]sober, [2]to love their husbands, [3]to love their children, [4]to be discreet, [5]chaste, [6]keepers at home, [7]good, [8]obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed(Titus 2:3-5).
The word blasphemed jumped out at me,"...that the word of God be not blasphemed." Aged women (that's me) are commanded to teach the young women so they will not blaspheme the word of God!!! As young mothers in danger of blasphemy? The passage says they are.....blasphemeing the Word Of God. Even though it is not the unpardonable sin, it sure is a scary thing for Paul to say that about young wives.
The word blaspheme in this passage had always seemed to be an overstatement---an emphatic exxageration. How can a woman be causing the Word of God to be blasphemed is she is not discreet? Does a women really cause the Word of God to be blasphemed if she doesn't obey her husband? What if he is wrong? What if she dresses a little sexy and is not as chaste as she should be? Should that be judged as blaspheming? What does it mean to be keepers at home? Why are these eight things so critical to young wives that refusal to do them would be termed blasphemy?
God is faithful, as I pondered these thoughts, He gave me a glimpse of how to answer these questions, His answer broke my heart. I could never have dreamed the horror that would teach me just why the word blaspheme is the right word. But first, we will examine the 8 characteristics, one by one, that God commands aged women to teach young women.
Until next week,..........

The purple flower PJs Girl....
The Purple Flower Pjs Girl......
Just last week, while I sat in my car in the Walmart parking lot, waiting for my daughter, I watched the people as they walked into the store. It was an interesting study in human behaviour. Of the 25 or so couples who walked into the store together, only 3 of them were touching each other, and those 3 ladies were the only one ssmiling out of the 25 or so I observed. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the prettiest, these ladies were 1 or 2's. One lady looked several(hard) years older than her tall, young, handsome husband. He had a delighted smile on his face as he watched her every move, possessively leading her by the arm. It was clear that she was enjoying telling him her tale. I could see it was a good story, because he threw his head back and laughed freely just as they walked through the door. He was enjoying his woman. Another couple passed by quietly, deliberetly brushing up against each other, saying nothing, but the womans smile said everything. the third smiling couple took the award of the day. He was a muscled-up gorgeous man, and she was almost past describing. She was wearing flannel PJ bottoms that were cut off just above the knees. The shortened pants had 5 inch purple flowers scattered over the white, almost see through material. She was short. and a lot overweight, with the most weight bouncing in those "extra tight" PJ shorts. Her hair was chopped off in an very "home" cut style, and really needed to be washed. Her gorgeous man had her in a headlock hug. She was laughing and poking him in the ribs while hollering for him to ler her go. You would have thought he was hugging Miss America by the way he was grinning. He was really enjoying his purple flower sweetie. I caught his eye, and he grinned back at me, not one bit embarressed. That gal had totally won his heart and my respect. He was proud to be her man. Of all those "beautiful"a girls who had walked into Walmart while I waited, it was this girl who was publicly being adored and appreciated. I suspect that she has never removed her husbands hugging arm for any reason, much less to save her hairdo. She has accepted all of his overtures with thanksgiving and delight.
In the coming few weeks, we will discuss how we need to cook, clean, take care of our children, etc. These things are important and necessary, but, the buck stops right here at the action of the word reverence.
A man will allow his woman many, many, faults, as long as he knows that she thinks he is great.
If she will just look into his face with adoration, if she is thankdul to him for loving her, he will adore her. She can dress awful, be very overweight, have hair needs help, not cook or very little, be a little lazy, and be not pretty, but if she will just think and show that he is wonderful.....HE WILL LOVE HER!!! I know, it sounds ridiculous, but that is just how it is.
Women, on the other hand, want their husbands to perform. They expect them to be spiritual, hardworking, diligent, sensitive, and an attentive parent, or they will take personal offense and begin a campaign to change him onto "their" image. I find it amazing that a woman would marry an MAN(as he is) and then become angry because he continues to act like one.
What does it mean to reverence?
The very act of reverence is extreme appreciation profound thankfulness that this man, JUST AS HE IS, has chosen to love me, JUST AS I AM.
How many traits should a young maid carry that is looking to be married?.....really only one, a grateful heart......let me explain....That girl must be joyful and thankful for the love that that man has for her who marrys her. The more that young lady believes she is fortunate that her man chose her over others, the better the fondation for the true marriage of 2 souls. If the young lady feels that the man is lucky to get her, that young lady is looking for her very OWN helpmeet and she thinks you are the one to fill the job...She will spend the rest of her life trying to change that young man.
To reverence your husband is to be thankful and delighted.
Like the purple flower pjs girl. It means the you must be the opposite of the "dont mess my hair girl", and that you believe in him enough to dream good things aboaut him. You reverence him by teaching your sons and daughters that their daddy is the #1 man, and then by helping making a sign in their hearts and maybe in reality, so everyone can see how you think and feel about him. In summary, it is to believe that YOU are blessed for being loved by this wonderful man.
Next week, some things to study....
OH!! Ladies, I do hope this gives you courage....don't give up....a short note from me.....this thing called reverence is funny, but, it is true, it really works, this happened to my DH and I...I decided to reverence, it took time, for him to trust me, but, it works....
If your man decides to go the other way, PLEASE don't quit becoming what God would have you be...work on YOU!

Spiritual Armour....
~~~~My DH thought I should post this this morning, so here it is....
~~~~Spiritual Armour
The kingdom of the world is based on untruth. It offers pleasures and happiness, but these lead to wretchedness and poverty of soul and often also of the body.
The kingdom of God is truth. Our spirits should be girded on all sides with this integral part of Gods armour. Truth will identify the sin which has come upon all men, and truth will bring men under conviction. All are lost without the Saviours intercession. Faith leads us to repentance and to the blood of Christ for the remission of sin. "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ"(1 Cor. 3:11).
The breastplate of righteousness keeps the heart clean and pure. It protects against grace-robbing vices. It enables us to be Christian in deed and not only in name.
A departed church father taught that we are not just saved to be good, but we are saved to be good for something. Having our feet shod with the gospel of peace will radically alter how and where we walk. The doctrines of returning good deeds for evil and going to all the world with the message of salvation will be born within us. Love for the souls of men, willingness for a life of sacrifice, and grace to extend forgiveness to those who despitefully use us will be manifested in our lives.
The helmet of salvation guards the mind. Most sins are preceeded by impure thoughts and selfserving. Evil surmisings and imaginations break down confidence and foster ill will. The Bible instructs us to go alone to our brother with our concerns. This often results in a warm melting together of hearts. Too often this is neglected, and gossip and backbiting result.
Strong holds can be besetting sins of long standing or grave sins that seem to have one hopelessly ensnared. The sword of the Spirit is mighty, working miracles of deliverance when one becomes willing to use it. this sword will cut to the very core of our attitudes and motives in searching out and pulling down strongholds of sin. It enables us to become jyful, new creatures inChrist.
Bible reading, prayer, and spiritual meditation will establish the Word inour hearts. this will provide a strong defense against evil.
Love to all who read this blog....

Abundant Waters......
Scripture....John 4:1-10; 5:1-9
In His great plan of salvation, God fashioned all living creatures with a natural dependency upon water. Some species rely on water as an enviroment to sustain them. Others, because their body mass consists largely of water, must frequently replenish the body's water reserves. The importance of satisfying this natural thirst cannot be ignored without serious consequences.
Jesus occasionally spoke of living water. This was an introduction to the Holy spirit whom Jesus promised to send following His ascension to heaven. As water is vital for natural life, so the Spirit provides life for the soul.
Those who receive the Holy Spirit through repentance and conversion find complete fulfillment. Because God's Love is the source of this newness of life, the efects are evident and far-reaching. "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water"(John 7:38).
When we surrender our lives to the Lord, we become aware of new life beginning in our hearts. The Holy Spirit has entered, and the trickle of water begins to flow. He leads us with gentle promptings and impressions, as well as convictions. Our desire is to be obedient to God and faithful to His word. Our acquaintances observe a change in our lives. The water that began to trickle is now a flowing river that goes deeper and deeper widening to reach out to others. What a privilege it is to be channels through which Gods grace can be manisfested to others.
Multitudes of people appear to be standing on the river bank, desiring the effects of it's water in their lives, yet fearful to take the plunge. Some seem to be content in the shallows: others are unwilling for the crucial step that will sweep them into the current, carrying them to the conter of Gods will and complete reliance upon Him through faith. Why do we resist the abundant waters? Only when we lose sight of the familiar shoreline can we discover new horizons of abundant life.
Satans tactic is to suggerst deeper waters will take us into self righteousness. This is a lie, but it is sometimes a convenient excuae for those who are unwilling for a deeper sanctification and a closer walk with God.
Our hearts are soft at the times when God moves in it. At this point we face a test, will we be obedient or will we just turn off that "still small voice"? Remaining in the shallows(turning off the H.S.), we will remain where we are...but, plunging into the deep river, gives us blessings that only can be found there...not wading, but, plunging....
Where are you in the river of life, wading or plunging?
Lets take Jesus as face value and take the plunge.....
Love to all....

Our name in the Book of LIfe?

Good Morning to all who read....
Is your name written in the Book of Life? Do I allow the "cares of this life" to weigh me down?
The martyrs followed and their names were in the Book Of Life, and knew death was imminent when professing Christianity. Do I follow because of ?....Is it pressure or a willingness on my own?
Is my christianity a ressilient one, or do I get discouraged when persecuted?
How do others see me as a Christian? The thought of "As long as my heart is right, does anything else matter..is a big thought in our world today....What is in our hearts eventually comes out....Then does the outward matter? Of course, because what is inour hearts comes out(ward)!
So what is in our hearts is what we wear on the outside...not? What we wear on the outside is for all to see, and it tells all what is in our hearts.
If we really are not right in our hearts, and it shows on the outside, will we hear the trump when it is blown? Does my liufe line up with the Scripture?
what exactly does the outside of me say about the inside of me?
Notes from our service...
Love to all....

Unconditional Surrender

Good Morning Ladies....
I thought for today, I would share my thoughts about this title....What does that mean , you are thinking...Lets find out....
Immediate and unconditional surrender is the only way we can truly serve God. In the battles of life, those who loose are at the mercies of the winners. If the loosers don't give up, immediately and unconditionally to their captives, it just wouldn't work for the loosers.
If we desire to live a Christian life, the only way we can, and the thing Jesus offers is "freedom", but, with unconditional surrender of our hearts and minds and wills.
Luke 14:31..We wonder, "Why is Christianity not clear, why cannot I hear the voice of the Holy Spirit? Could it be a lack of complete surrender in our lives? Am I willing to do whatever the Holy Spirit asks of me? Even when it goes against my own thinking? Rev. 2:26-28
Matthew...Are we holding onto a "part" of ourselves, that perhaps God has ask us to give up and let go of? We don't want anyone else to know, we want to keep it secret....We may think it's a secret, but, Our Heavenly Father, sees it all, and we really are not fooling anyone, are we?
God is very merciful to us, He will not require anything of us, that He would not give us the strength to overcome, or walk through. He's not a harsch God, He does not hold a rod over our heads to clunk us, when we do wrong, He is merciful, and ever bearing with us. He wants us to be "free" of our "secret" sins...... It may be painful to go through, we may have to be humble enough to be wrong.....but, that is the way we are free.....
When we are truly broken, we will want to be what he wants us to be.....We will want to do right, that doesn't mean we wont fail, we will, but, he is
there to "lift our arms that hang down"..and help us along....We can then have the vision to see wht God is requiring of us. Humility ONLY comes when we are truly broken and ready and willing for whatever He has for us....
Matthew 10 says....."...come unto me all ye that are heavey laden...for "I" will give you rest..."
I want to encourage us to give our "all" to Jesus, and allow Him the room to "set us free"...
May we be faithful so, no matter what, even when its tough and looks like a mountain to us, we may fall on our knees and repent.
Love from my heart this morning...

continue on "Finding your life in His..."

Now a continuation on yesterdays postings...............
Has your Dh decided to take a different path in his career than you want?God didn't create Adam and Eve at the same time and then tell them to work out some compromise on how they would each achieve their personal goals in a cooperative manner. He created Adam, gave him an occupation, appointed him as ruler of the planet, endowed him with a spiritual outlook, gave him commands, and specified his occupational duties. Adam commenced his rule of the planet BEFORE God created Eve to help him in his lifes goals. Adam didn't need Eves consent. She was designed to serve, not to be served, to assist, not to veto his decisions. Can you imagine Eve saying; " When God brought me to you in that wonderful garden, and we commenced life together, you never said anythng about thorns and thistles, about pain in childbirth, about milking goats, cows or whatever, about churning butter and I am not a wildernessgirl!"
I wonder how your DHs feel when you are essentially saying these things? Will your unhappy DH loose his joy over the whole matter?, and be robbed of his vision? If he does go back to being what he was before he got this "vision"....will he spend the rest of his life, dreaming? Dreaming of a different kind of lady for a wife?, a bunch of happy children, and the rest of his dream?...just like the Grandpa in yesterdays words.
LIFE IS NOW!!!! Don't make him ruin his life by being forced(by you and your control)into doing "your" thoughts, do it his way, make him happy..Find your life in his!!!!
God made us women to be helpmeets, and it is in our nature to do so....It is the role in which we will succeed in life, and it is where we will find our very greatest fulfillment as a woman. God did say in Genesis; "I will make him an help meet(not head of the home) for him." 1 Corinthians 11;8 & 9 says that also...Genesis 3:16 says..."Unto the woman he said....and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee..."
When we fight Gods will and our DHs dreams, we are frustrated and disappointed.
If our DHs are kind steady men,(like mine) they will eventually become discouraged and give up trying to please us, (I am glad to have sae the right light before this happened!) If our DHs are Command men, they may leave us behind and find the kind of woman that loves what they love. If our DHs are Visionary men, they will yell and make our lives miserable until we run back to mama and end up sleeping in a cold bed and living on food stamps or less.
Life is full of choices. How you choose to respond will help you decide your fate in life. Life is NOW! Learn to really enjoy taking our the trash or milking the cow(ask God to help you and make you willing). You will be amazed at how God will fill you fulll of himself. You will look back(and I do)in your happy old age, and wonder how this happened, how you ever could have been a long faced sad sack, how you ever "did that" to your DH...how anyone else could have stood your atatitudes and control?
Now they may say, "You are just happy....why?" And you know what to say....
You can now laugh..... and knowing that you are in Gods will as a Helpmeet. that is what brings you life and Joy, being in HIS will, what you are created for...God is not looking for happy women to make them into help meets for good men....He is looking for women willing to be true help meets to the men they are married to......HE can fill them with His joy!!!!!!!!
His express image........
We have studied 3 different types of men and how each one relates the the lady in his life. WE have learned that God gives wisdom for you to come to know, accept, and appreciate, the man in your life. He may be all 3 or a mix of 2 or just one. The important thing is for you to understnad that he is what God made him, and that you are to be his suitable helper. Knowing what "expression" God has made him to be will help you become a better helper to the man of your life. God says so clearly and emphatically that "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth ato all men[and women] liverally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him'(James 1:5).
Ask The Lord of your life to help you know and appreciate your DH. Pray that God will give you the wisdom and grace to share your mans dreams so it will always be you that he dreams about....
TIME TO CONSIDER>>>>
Wisdom is knowing what you "bought", when you married that man and learning to adapt to him as he is, while enjoying the full value of your "purchase".....
Make a new habit....
Is it Gods will that yor DH adapt to you, or hat you adapt tohim? What habits in your life should yo adapt to his? Start today....
Getting serious about this whole thing...
The word WISDOM appears 223 times, hmmmmmmmmm, I wonder why?
Look up and read each one and ask that God will do a work in your heart and your "WILL". Add to your memory your favorite verses about Wisdom. Each day resolve that you will pray for your DH....the same time every day...(at a red light, washing dishes...)
This really works, it has turned my marriage upside down...
Love to all....

When boys help make cookies....

When boys help make cookies....
If the cookie cutter dissappears, you might find the graceful Angel hitched to the tractor, being used as a plow. You almost wonder how her expression can remain so demure.
Boys!
The cookie rack becomes an excellent hayrack, filled with "hay"(your fresh baked cookies, grin). If mom has her back turned, it may even end up on the floor, the "hay" tumbling into the dried mud on the floor from last nights outdoor excursion. Together we pick them up while he is delighted that a snowman lost an arm, He can eat it!!!
Boys!
The innocent Teddy Bear cocokie may have tell tale signs of tractor tire marks on his torso.
